Congratulations to Nathaniel Pfeifer

Congratulations to Nathaniel Pfeifer for earning his Gold Medal of Achievement (GMA).  His award ceremony was held on September 13, 2008 with several in attendance.  His senior commander, Julian Leyba did a great job as emcee of the ceremony.  This is the highest award that can be earned by a Royal Ranger and is comparable to the Eagle Scout Award.  Nathaniel was also presented his Gold Buffalo award for earning more merits than required for the Gold Medal of Achievement.

Where is my High Adventure?

Rangers NOW has replaced High Adventure. This information in detail can be found in the Seek and Save articles for leaders to read and respond to.

Rangers NOW will be an annual publication to be published each fall. There will be a separate magazine for each age group with age specific and group specific information. It will contain the latest program updates as well as information on new products and resources of particular interest to that group. It will also include pages for use by the boys in relation to their outpost program, such as patrol rosters, outpost calendar, personal not pages, etc. It will be used in conjunction with the group handbook throughout the year.
